- Should treatment be required, you will be offered a full range of options, not limited by Government targets and restrictions.
- You are unhurried

- You can budget for treatment in the knowledge that all assessments of unexpected problems and many simpler treatments will be available FREE or at 50% of normal cost for complex procedures
- You will be treated in the most comfortable and relaxing surroundings, probably, unlike any dental practice you have been to before.
Prerequisites to joining
- As a minimum a single course of treatment must be completed.
- Your mouth must be generally healthy and no immediate reason to believe several teeth are about to fail, although there is the expectation that without close care and monitoring your mouth is liable to deteriorate over the next five to ten years.
- The condition of your mouth is not so good that the preventive programme is excessive, and the risk of you requiring substantial work is slight.
Why are we offering a specific plan for 60 plus?
It is easy to let dental health slide, particularly as we grow older.
It is our observation that there is inadequate provision for those 60 plus, who tend to have particular problems, needs and desires. We are looking to provide appropriate level of care at a very attractive price, knowing that many are on fixed incomes and the ability to budget is important.
Your generation's dental problems began during childhood, when NHS dentistry provided many large fillings, helping you to keep your teeth longer than previous generations. The downside is that most of you have weakened teeth, liable to cracking, crumbling, and becoming sensitive. For some this has made eating and drinking less comfortable, with obvious worsening of appearance.
Whilst your needs for care are increasing, there are pressures to delay what is done for you both by the new NHS system and private treatment plans available for all, so your condition may worsen. Unfortunately, for most this is the time they become aware that their treatment hasn't been to the standard they would have liked, finding themselves requiring complicated and costly repairs, or loss of teeth.
Pressure exists from Government to see patients less frequently and do simpler treatments on the NHS. You are likely to need to be seen more frequently and tend to have more complex problems. You may not like to consider it, but as we age the risk of developing cancer increases. The earlier it is detected, the better chance of successful treatment. We believe the tendency towards two yearly NHS examinations is much too long, having seen a patient, who two years previously was healthy, returned with terminal cancer arising from gum. Those on our plan are seen at least every three months, so unusual changes can be identified and if necessary referred to hospital for investigation.
We know that the preventive programme we offer will increase your comfort levels, and with your help with dental hygiene the chances of you requiring large amounts of remedial work is reduced. If we see you soon enough, we anticipate that most will require to pay little or no more than the monthly fee, hence allowing you to budget and maintain a healthy mouth that you can have confidence in.
Even though you choose to join the plan, there are no restrictions and you may select additional treatment options available for everyone such as cosmetic work.
